Bally/Stern Arduino adapter kit - Revision 3

$29.00

New, exciting rule sets have been created for classic Bally/Stern pins: Eight Ball, Meteor, Flash Gordon, Stars, Trident, Black Jack, Mata Hari, and more. The open source community is continuing to develop new titles. You can download the available titles today and install them on your machine, or use the open source BSOS (Bally/Stern Operating System) and rule set as a starting point to develop your own.

This Revision 3 kit includes everything needed to connect your MEGA 2560 Arduino clone to the MPU board. The MEGA 2560 contains eight times the code space of the Arduino Nano, allowing for development and loading of much more complex games. The compact PCB attaches to the MPU board's J5 connector. A jumper selects between the original 6800 and Arduino code versions, and connects to a .1" header, so a remote switch can be added for easy dual-boot operation. The assembled board shown has the optional 34-pin male header installed (included), for use in controlling the sound board in Stern games that use it. Includes two serial connectors to link to your own sound generator (.wav trigger) board, and/or any other serial device that you can develop for.

Compatible with Bally AS-2518-17 and AS-2518-35, Stern MPU-100 and MPU-200, and Alltek boards. Comes with all parts shown here, and assembly instructions.
